Sabará Group

In the last triennium, the Group went through an important reformulation that split and repositioned its business units.

  • 2010

    The legal status was changed from Limited Liability Company to Privately Held Corporation.

  • 2012

    Creation of the holding Sabará Participações.

  • 2012 to 2015

    The holding Sabará Participações was in control of Beraca Sabará Químicos e Ingredientes S/A.

  • 2015

    The Group started the restructuring process that split the corporate name and named the different business units. The name Beraca was maintained for the business unit Health and Personal Care; for the sugarcane and ethanol sector, the beverage industry and the energy segment, we created the unit named BioE Integrated Solutions; for the industrial water treatment and sanitation market, Sabará Químicos e Ingredientes; the food, animal nutrition and veterinary medicines segments were named Concepta Ingredients.

  • By 2016

    The goal for this year is to complete the renovation of the Management and Family Boards, hiring an independent member, and to design the Succession Plan, with the objective of structuring the holding without losing the characteristics of the founding family. Furthermore, there will be the compliance to SOX 404, with the implementation of internal controls and audit processes.
